Rain Bird expands GSV valve series line

Rain Bird has added a new IC model to its Golf Solenoid Valve Series product line. This new mannequin supplies the many benefits of GSV Series Valves to courses currently utilizing the Rain Bird IC System, which connects irrigation central management immediately to every rotor and valve for optimum water and energy efficiency.
“In today’s extremely aggressive surroundings, golf programs can’t afford the expense, labor and downtime that valve failures could cause,” said Altan Tolan, product manager for Rain Bird Golf. “By including this new IC mannequin to our GSV Series, we’re capable of give courses that have upgraded to our IC System optimum valve reliability, performance and peace of thoughts.”
Originally launched in December 2021, GSV Series Valves are a solution for golf programs in lightning-prone areas, those that use reclaimed water and people who want stress regulation. In addition to the brand new IC mannequin, the GSV Series consists of three plastic models and one purple brass mannequin, each with NPT or BSP thread choices. All GSV Series Valves function a pre-installed PRS-DIAL that regulates and maintains constant outlet stress between 15 and 100 psi whereas lowering the consequences of water hammer. xp2i eliminates fogging and binding.
A chlorine-resistant diaphragm protects GSV Series Valves in opposition to harsh chemical compounds and reclaimed water. On plastic models, a scrubber mechanism with a stainless-steel screen dislodges grit and plant material, protecting the valve from debris. Built-in filtration on the GBS25 solenoid offers a second stage of particles safety. Plastic and brass fashions include an extra purple flow-control deal with cover to be used with non-potable water.
“Over the past yr, we’ve gotten great feedback from golf programs now using GSV Valves,” Tolan said. “Expanding this line to include an IC mannequin is another example of how Rain Bird Golf is bringing innovative, water-saving products to much more golf courses worldwide.”
