Flash floods from heavy rain hit three districts in Surat Thani

Last night, villages in three districts in Southern Thailand’s Surat Thani province had been hit by flash floods because of heavy rain and local rescue groups together with the army assisted residents in transferring their belongings to greater floor.
Governor Wichawut Jinto and Chamnong Sawatwong, chief of the provincial catastrophe prevention and mitigation workplace, led the relief effort, which included territorial protection volunteers, troopers from Infantry Company 25, and catastrophe aid personnel.
