Cops busted an online playing ring in Bangkok with over 150 million baht in circulation.
Officers from the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) arrested 10 suspects who’re believed to be half of a giant online gambling network referred to as “Hai Jiew Talat Noi.” According to the (CIB), the group had over a hundred and fifty million baht in circulation.
The 10 suspects are: 37 year previous Atchara Sunthornchataphong, 38 year outdated Natthapachet Phu Aphiphat Thanakit, 37 year outdated Lertpisit Trongchai-anan, 38 year old Chumpol Suwanno, 32 year previous Jitraporn Meesuk, 48 12 months old Chantima Choengwanich, 32 yr outdated Suthida Kitthaweekoon, forty three yr outdated Thani Teepana, 31 12 months previous Kanchana Saetia, and forty 12 months previous Chadaporn Siriwattakul, all of whom are Thai nationals.
Police seized 1 million baht in cash, five firearms, 5 vehicles, two Rolex wristwatches, 10 gold necklaces, bracelets and rings, 9 gold bars, two land deeds, eight branded bags, 360 amulets, one safe field, and many checking account books, ATM playing cards, and credit cards.
CIB officers stated that the arrest adopted the dismantling of a web-based playing ring operated by the Hai Jiew Talat Noi network and the Silom-Rama 2 community. During the first operation, 13 suspects had been arrested, together with the website’s proprietor, shareholders, and workers, along with playing tools similar to baccarat tables, card decks, computers, and stay streaming units.
Police then performed one other investigation and arrested the 10 suspects listed above, The Pattaya News reported. Three of the suspects managed to escape.
The worker suspects reportedly admitted to offering gambling providers to individuals, whereas the proprietor and shareholders denied all allegations. They have all been charged with several gambling expenses.
